New York Wedding Dance Collaborates with Award Winning Composer

Broadway conductor, film composer and recording artist Deborah Hurwitz partners with New York Wedding Dance to offer the world’s first custom Wedding Song Service.

New York Wedding Dance is pleased to collaborate with artist and composer Deborah N. Hurwitz to offer custom songwriting service to clientele. Launched November 15, 2008, brides and grooms to-be now have the option of having their first dance choreographed to a song written especially for them by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musician, who was a client of New York Wedding Dance for her own wedding this past July.

Ms. Hurwitz musical experience spans from singing and playing with artists such as Gloria Estefan and Cyndi Lauper to composing and conducting feature film scores for stars like Sean Penn and Jack Nicholson. She is currently conducting and performing in the Broadway production of Jersey Boys, while serving as the hit show’s Music Technical Designer and Synth Programmer for all companies worldwide, including the First National Tour and resident companies in Chicago, Las Vegas, Toronto and London. As a singer songwriter, she has released two solo CD’s and her newest single, “Mirror,” just reached #25 on the Billboard Hot Single Sales chart. Continue Reading...
